Thank You, Officer Farva!

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone that’s supported my Courage Classic ride this year! I really appreciate it. Earlier today, with a $51 donation made by Officer Farva, I surpassed my $1,000 donation goal. Officer Farva…LOL.

I’m getting excited for the ride. My husband, dad, mother-in-law and two sister-in-laws are all doing it this year, so it’ll be a fun, family event. We’re renting a HUGE house in Copper for the weekend. Here’s a pic of the front:

And, I’m really glad it’s a “ride,” not a “race.” I really haven’t been on the bike much recently, and I have a feeling I’m going to be hurting. Here’s a map that shows the course:

Rest Day!

Today shall be my rest day. I rode 28 miles and ran five yesterday so I could have an off day today. I even slept in until 7am. And I”m wearing hot pink jeans to work (yup). Man, fabulous things are happening already today. No to mention…the office is closing early! Happy weekend everyone!
